NRC-Supported Boreholes Completed in Bargal and Timir Communities

Royal Drilling has completed two important water supply projects in collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). The Bargal and Timir boreholes provide reliable water access to hundreds of families across Raascasayr and Nugal regions.

  • Bargal Borehole: 34m depth, completed in 7 days

  • Timir Borehole: 280m depth, completed in 11 days

Both projects were supervised by the Puntland Water Development Agency (PWDA) and funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid, ensuring high technical and operational standards throughout the drilling process.

These boreholes will greatly reduce water shortages, support pastoral and household needs, and enhance long-term community resilience in the region.
